| Interlaken, Switzerland News!! In Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Sister Cities Relationship between Scottsdale and Interlaken, an official visit from Interlaken, headed by its Mayor Urs Graf, will visit Scottsdale from October 3 - 10, 2009. The delegation consists of 14 people, including 4 City Council members, Helmut Reichen, the past School Superintendent and co-originator of the relationship, Sybille Andres, past Vice Mayor and President of the Interlaken Sister Cities Association (IFAI). During their visit, the delegation will meet with Mayor Jim Lane at a special reception. On Thursday, October 8 at 5:30 pm the Swiss delegation will participate in the dedication of a new Scottsdale Sister Cities Sign at Scottsdale City Hall. Members of Scottsdale Sister Cities are invited to this dedication.
